In 2018 there were 2.8 million Californians (7.2% of the population), and 27 million (8.5%) individuals throughout the U.S., without health insurance.
“…to meet the physical therapy needs of society, the American Physical Therapy Association encourages its members to render pro bono physical therapy services.”
PTFORALL is dedicated to expanding the availability of pro bono physical therapy care to help the medically under-served in communities throughout California. We are facilitating this process by bringing together physical therapy private practices who are willing to host a PT/PTA volunteer with licensed PTs/PTAs who are looking for a clinic in which they can provide pro bono physical therapy. This partnership is designed to be a win-win-win for low-income uninsured consumers, PTs/PTAs who want to volunteer but are not in private practice, and PT private practice owners.
If you are a licensed PT or PTA interested in providing pro bono physical therapy care in your community, please contact PTFORALL for a list of PT clinics willing to host a volunteer.
FOR PT PRIVATE PRACTICE OWNERS
If you are a PT private practice owner willing to host a licensed PT/PTA who will provide pro bono physical therapy in your clinic, then please contact PTFORALL to be put on our private list of clinics available only to licensed PTs/PTAs.
